Write articles on all topics related to the United States of America and the Bulgarian community in America, conduct interviews, cover major political events in the United States such as the Presidential Inauguration, United Nations sessions, political conventions and cultural events for the largest daily newspaper in Bulgaria.

Journalist. Wrote articles and commentaries, conducted interviews, translated English wire stories to Bulgarian, developed content for weekly publication serving the Bulgarian speaking community in Chicago and beyond.

VISTA Member. Worked with Executive Director to develop and implement programs for the Neighborhood Technology Resource Center. Tutored adults and children. Cultivated relationships with media. Assisted with grant writing and fundraising. President Bill Clinton expressed his personal appreciation for VISTA’s work with the underdeveloped communities in Chicago during his visit to town, April 2000.

Covered areas of political unrest throughout the Balkans, such as Sarajevo and Yugoslavia, in addition to human rights issues in Bulgaria.

• Served as a consultant for Bulgarian National Radio regarding the situation in Yugoslavia during the War in Bosnia
